Sri Ramakrishna is served in all the Ashramas of the Ramakrishna Order with lot of devotion and care. Various servies like Aarati, Puja (worship), Keertanam (Prayerful singing) are offered to Him in this temple.
Daily puja is performed in the temple from 9.30 to 11.00 am. This worship of Sri Ramakrishna has been arranged in the order it is by Swami Ramakrishnananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Himself.
While offering this worship, one purifies oneself, physically, mentally and intellectually and tries to go beyond the limitations of this world. The worshipper then identifies himself as Spirit and worships God.
The Mantras and the ritualistic postures etc help the transformation. The whole worship is a sight to see and experience. The worshipper here offers the puja on behalf of all the beings in the world.
Apart from the above daily worship-service, special worships and homam etc. are performed on the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda and on Guru Purnima.
Special worship is also performed on festivals like Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Shivaratri, Kali Puja, Durga Puja Lakshmi Puja, Annapurna Puja etc.
