Vivekananda Vani Samstha (Vivekananda Institute of Languages), run by the Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, was started by Rev. Swami Ranganathanandaji Maharaj, former President of the Ramakrishna Order, in 1981. It was inaugurated by the Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.  Being part of the Ramakrishna Math, the Institute offers a very good learning environment for the students. Over the years the Institute has become very popular not only in Hyderabad, but also all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

This Institute is unique because we not only teach languages but also attempt to impart the man-making, character building education as envisioned by Swami Vivekananda. His life and teachings have been a constant source of inspiration for millions of Indians, and especially for the youth.

To help our young men and women realise Swamiji’s dream of the future India, Swami Ranganathanandaji Maharaj, started this Institute of Languages. Since inception the Institute has acquired a very high reputation of providing quality education in languages at very, very nominal fees. Currently, the Institute offers courses in Spoken English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, Sanskrit, and Hindi.  The present demand for admission in our Spoken English course is so high that every session we have to send back thousands of students seeking admission here.

The Institute has a team of about 65 highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated teachers  for whom teaching is more of a “passion and a mission” than merely a commercial profession. As the Institute offers part time courses it requires a lot of effort on part of the teachers to retain students in the class by motivating them.

It also has 11 non teaching staff who are highly sincere and dedicated towards their duty.

Students must play their role positively and actively in maintaining the serene and quiet atmosphere conducive for a learning environment. It is expected that the students will conduct themselves in a mature, polite and considerate manner.
