Sant Darshanam

From time immemorial, India has been producing many great saints and sages. These great beings demonstrated through their lives that God is the only permanent being in this ever-changing and temporary world and that spiritual life can give man Knowledge, Joy and Immortality. Their lives prove to us that one can lead a really contented and fulfilled life by dedicating one’s everything at the Lotus feet of God. They may belong to various traditions, regions and languages, but they all say the same thing—God is the be-all and end-all for mankind.

The Vedas and the Upanishads took a concrete shape to guide human beings towards perfection in the forms of these great saviors. The light emanating from them cleared the path for many a struggling soul and showered the nectar of peace and happiness on them. The study of these great lives and their teachings will certainly be inspiring to everyone.

By emulating them and by following their teachings, we will certainly free ourselves from amidst the mess of confusion and misunderstanding we live in today. With this noble intention, the Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, has set up a beautiful and permanent museum where the oil paintings of some selected saints are displayed.
