The objective of these six vans is to bring every student, parent, young, old, learned or ignorant, rich and poor within the mainstream of this life-giving message of Swami Vivekananda. All through history, India had made one big mistake and which she paid and is paying a heavy price for unequal development in the rural and urban areas. Swami Vivekananda said, “The greatest sin is the neglect of the masses.” Taking them to be unimportant has resulted in their being crushed and oppressed by successive rulers. Swami Vivekananda’s life and message have to reach all of them as equally as to the urban people. These vans are the Jnanavahini’s outreach arms.
