Where are the classes held?

The Spoken English classes are held at Vivekananda Institute of Languages, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad. This is near lower tank bund opposite Ganesh Temple situated near Indira Park. Bus no. 20P, 113 Y & 113 I/M stop near the Institute.

When can I enroll for the classes?

There are three sessions: January, June and September sessions. The admission process will start one month before.

How much is the course fee?

The course fee is Rs.1200/- inclusive of cost of text books. This is payable at the time of admission.

Can my friends/parents/relatives apply for me?

No, the candidate only should apply in person.

What should I bring at the time of admission?

You need to come personally along with

  1. Two photo copies of SSC marks memo
  2. 2 Passport Size Photographs and
  3. any one photo ID like Aadhaar Card, Ration Card etc.

My Tenth Class Pass Memo is not with me but with my College, what should I do?

You will have to bring your school/college ID card along with two photo copies of SSC marks memo attested by your college principal.


What if I have MORE marks in tenth class?

We encourage you to wait to apply in the next term, i.e., January. We shall prioritize candidates with better scores in their Class X English subjects then. Please note that the present application form will only be used for admissions to September Term.

What is the weekly schedule?

Classes are held thrice a week. MWF= Monday, Wednesday & Friday TTS= Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday The timings of the classes are as follows:

Morning batch-7.30 to 9.30 a.m.

Day Batch – 10.15 to 12.15 p.m.

Evening Batch – 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

What is the duration of each class?

Each class will be for two hours.

Are the classes held in the morning or evening?

There is a morning batch, and day batch and an evening batch. You may opt for any batch during the time of application.

What are the timings of each batch?

MORNING BATCH:       7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.

DAY BATCH:                  10.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m.

EVENING BATCH:         5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

What if I come late to my class?

You will not be permitted in the class if you are late. Not more than six leaves will be granted during the entire duration of the course.

How will I get to know if my application has been selected?

A list of students selected for admission will be published on the Institute noticeboard and website. The date and time of your admission will be mentioned in the list. You will have to come prepared for your admission.

How do I choose Basic or Junior Level?

The candidate has the option to choose either Basic or Junior level at the time of submission of the Application.

  1. A) Candidates who have done their SSC in the regional medium (Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, etc.) are suggested to choose BASIC
  2. B) Candidates who have studied in English medium or who have completed PG course are suggested to choose JUNIOR
  3. C) Candidates will write a separate classification test for Basic and Junior on the day of admission

What is classification test?

The classification test is conducted to check the level of the student so that we can allot them a section according to their level and knowledge of English.
